Did you know that you only need one person to believe in you to get some serious s&#t done?
This week I’m feeling especially grateful for the people I can point to all along the way who have expressed their belief in me. Whether they said it out loud or signaled it through their actions, the gift of their confidence in me propelled me to be courageous in so many different areas of life.
Sometimes we get caught up in thinking we need a whole slew of people and plans before we step out and do the thing we want to do or create the life we want to live. But we can all benefit from remembering that one person who has (or has had) faith in us.
These memories of teachers, grandparents, parents, friends, family, and even co-workers can help us to push ahead when new things get hard (because news flash … new things ARE hard). I hope you let their belief in you live on in your heart as you go toward your dreams or face something challenging.
Who are your believers past and present? Call on them this week as you usher in more of what matters to you.
